Anti-EPG4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target EPG4 is a known alias name of the protein EI24 autophagy associated transmembrane protein, encoded by the EI24 gene in humans. This 340-amino acid residue protein is known to act as a negative growth regulator via p53-mediated apoptosis pathway. It is localized to the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. The term PIG8 is another synonym for EPG4. Indicated applications for EPG4 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
