Anti-C-C antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The C-C antigen is another term for the human protein C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 1, encoded by the CXCR1 gene. The protein is a known receptor to interleukin-8, which is a powerful neutrophils chemotactic factor. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 350 residues and a mass of 39.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. The C-C protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Other alias names for C-C include C-C-CKR-1. These C-C antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
