This target is a reported synonym of the YIF1A gene, which encodes Yip1 interacting factor homolog A, membrane trafficking protein. This protein is known to function in Golgi transport and protein transport, among other biological roles. The human version of FinGER7 has a canonical amino acid length of 293 residues and a protein mass of 32 kilodaltons.
