Anti-DHQV antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DHQV is a known alias name of the protein N-ribosyldihydronicotinamide:quinone reductase 2, encoded by the NQO2 gene in humans. This 231-amino acid residue protein is a member of the NAD(P)H dehydrogenase (quinone) protein family. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the kidney and testis. Other synonyms for DHQV include DIA6 and NMOR2.
