Anti-Ddp1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Ddp1 antigen is another term for the human protein translocase of inner mitochondrial membrane 8A, encoded by the TIMM8A gene. The protein is known to function in nervous system development, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 97 residues and a mass of 11 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and it is reported to be highly expressed in fetal and adult brain, followed by fetal lung, liver and kidney. The Ddp1 protein is a member of the Small Tim protein family. Other alias names for Ddp1 include DDP and DDP. Indicated applications for Ddp1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
