Anti-CF2R antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CF2R antigen is another term for the human protein coagulation factor II thrombin receptor, encoded by the F2R gene. The protein is a high affinity receptor for activated thrombin coupled to G proteins that stimulate phosphoinositide hydrolysis. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 425 residues and a mass of 47.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in many tissues, such as the colon, testis, and bone marrow. The CF2R protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Other alias names for CF2R include HTR. Western Blot is a widely used application for the CF2R antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
