Anti-cCNOX antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the cCNOX antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ENOX1 gene, which encodes ecto-NOX disulfide-thiol exchanger 1. This protein is suspected to be acts as a terminal oxidase of plasma electron transport from cytosolic NAD(P)H via hydroquinones to acceptors at the cell surface. The human version of cCNOX has a canonical amino acid length of 643 residues and a protein mass of 73.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus and colon. Other names for this target antigen include CNOX, PIG38, and bA64J21.1.
