Anti-C9orf10 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C9orf10 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FAM120A gene, which encodes family with sequence similarity 120A. This protein is believed to participate in mRNA transport in the cytoplasm (By similarity). The human version of C9orf10 has a canonical amino acid length of 1118 residues and a protein mass of 121.9 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as HBVPTPAP.
