Anti-DHHC7 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The DHHC7 antigen is another term for the human protein zinc finger DHHC-type palmitoyltransferase 7, encoded by the ZDHHC7 gene. The protein is reported to be a golgi-localized palmitoyltransferase that catalyzes the addition of palmitate onto various protein substrates and therefore functions in several unrelated biological processes. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 308 residues and a mass of 35.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the Golgi. The DHHC7 protein is a member of the DHHC palmitoyltransferase protein family. Other alias names for DHHC7 include palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC7 and Sertoli cell gene with zinc finger domain-I(2). Indicated applications for DHHC7 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
