Anti-DHHC21 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DHHC21 is a known alias name of the protein zinc finger DHHC-type palmitoyltransferase 21, encoded by the ZDHHC21 gene in humans. This 265-amino acid residue protein is a reported palmitoyltransferase that catalyzes the addition of palmitate onto various protein substrates. It is localized to the Golgi and cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is widely expressed across many tissue types.
