Anti-CXXC7 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The CXXC7 antigen is another term for the human protein lysine methyltransferase 2A, encoded by the KMT2A gene. The protein is a known histone methyltransferase that plays an essential role in early development and hematopoiesis. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 3969 residues and a mass of 431.8 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The CXXC7 protein is a member of the Histone-lysine methyltransferase protein family. Other alias names for CXXC7 include ALL-1 and ALL1.
