BPM-L, or RAN binding protein 9, is a human gene encoded by RANBP9. It may also be known as: BPM-L; BPM90; Ran-binding protein M; RanBPM; Ran Binding Protein in the Microtubule organizing center. The encoded protein has an amino acid length of 729 and a mass of 77.8 kDa. Other isoforms may exist. BPM-L is a member of the RANBP9/10 family. Homologs of this gene exist in other organisms, including: Fly, Rat, Frog.
