Anti-APOLLO antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target APOLLO is a known alias name of the protein DNA cross-link repair 1B, encoded by the DCLRE1B gene in humans. This 532-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a 5'-3' exonuclease that plays a central role in telomere maintenance and protection during S-phase. It is localized to the nucleus, chromosomes, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. Indicated applications for APOLLO antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
