Anti-DESI1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein desumoylating isopeptidase 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 168 amino acid residues and a mass of 18.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. It is a member of the DeSI protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include DESI2, DJ347H13.4, FAM152B, POST, PPPDE2, and D15Wsu75e. DESI1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. These DESI1 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
