Anti-CTF4 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CTF4 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the WDHD1 gene, which encodes WD repeat and HMG-box DNA binding protein 1. This protein is known to function in DNA repair and DNA replication, among other biological roles. The human version of CTF4 has a canonical amino acid length of 1129 residues and a protein mass of 126 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and cervix. Other names for this target antigen include AND-1, AND1, and CHTF4.
