Anti-EKI 1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the EKI 1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ETNK1 gene, which encodes ethanolamine kinase 1. This protein is known to function in protein phosphorylation, among other biological roles. The human version of EKI 1 has a canonical amino acid length of 452 residues and a protein mass of 51 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, testis, and appendix. EKI 1 is a member of the Choline/ethanolamine kinase protein family. Indicated applications for EKI 1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
