Anti-BXMAS2-10 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BXMAS2-10 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the GLYATL2 gene, which encodes glycine-N-acyltransferase like 2. This protein is reported to be a mitochondrial acyltransferase, which transfers the acyl group to the N-terminus of glycine. The human version of BXMAS2-10 has a canonical amino acid length of 294 residues and a protein mass of 34.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells. BXMAS2-10 is a member of the Glycine N-acyltransferase protein family.
