Anti-EAA1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The EAA1 antigen is another term for the human protein glutamate ionotropic receptor kainate type subunit 4, encoded by the GRIK4 gene. The protein is a known receptor for glutamate. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 956 residues and a mass of 107.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in the caudate and hippocampus. The EAA1 protein is a member of the Glutamate-gated ion channel (TC 1.A.10.1) protein family. Other alias names for EAA1 include GRIK. Indicated applications for EAA1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
