Anti-BM033 Antibody Products

Anti-BM033 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BM033 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TMEM242 gene, which encodes transmembrane protein 242. This protein is reported to be a scaffold protein that participates in the c-ring assembly of mitochondrial ATP synthase (F(1)F(0) ATP synthase or complex V) by facilitating the membrane insertion and oligomer formation of the subunit c/ATP5MC3. The human version of BM033 has a canonical amino acid length of 141 residues and a protein mass of 14.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the caudate, testis, and bronchus. BM033 is a member of the TMEM242 protein family.
