Anti-DIL1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target DIL1 is a known alias name of the protein spondin 2, encoded by the SPON2 gene in humans. This 331-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and the cellular response to lipopolysaccharides, among other biological processes. It is localized to the extracellular matrix and is secreted of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in normal lung tissue but not in the lung carcinoma cell lines. Western Blot is a widely used application for the DIL1 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
