Anti-ESO2 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The ESO2 antigen is another term for the human protein cancer/testis antigen 2, encoded by the CTAG2 gene. The protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 210 residues and a mass of 21.1 kilodaltons. It is expressed in the testis. The ESO2 protein is a member of the CTAG/PCC1 protein family. Other alias names for ESO2 include CAMEL, CAMEL, and CT2.
