Anti-CasL antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CasL antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NEDD9 gene, which encodes neural precursor cell expressed, developmentally down-regulated 9. This protein is known to function in GTPase activation and cell adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of CasL has a canonical amino acid length of 834 residues and a protein mass of 92.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. This target antigen may also be known as CAS-L. Some CasL antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
