Anti-AMPH2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AMPH2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the BIN1 gene, which encodes bridging integrator 1. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization and endocytosis, among other biological roles. The human version of AMPH2 has a canonical amino acid length of 593 residues and a protein mass of 64.7 kilodaltons, although 11 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include AMPHL and CNM2.
