Anti-CEB1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CEB1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HERC5 gene, which encodes HECT and RLD domain containing E3 ubiquitin protein ligase 5. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of CEB1 has a canonical amino acid length of 1024 residues and a protein mass of 116.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the testis. Other names for this target antigen include CEBP1 and E3 ISG15--protein ligase HERC5.
