Anti-ATG1A antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target ATG1A is a known alias name of the protein unc-51 like autophagy activating kinase 1, encoded by the ULK1 gene in humans. This 1050-amino acid residue protein is known to be a protein kinase involved in autophagy in response to starvation. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for ATG1A include ATG1 and ATG1. ELISA is a widely used application for the ATG1A antibodies listed below. In addition, Western Blot is also a common application.
