Anti-cmyb antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target cmyb is a known alias name of the protein MYB proto-oncogene, transcription factor, encoded by the MYB gene in humans. This 640-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in erythrocyte differentiation and the cell cycle, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and bone marrow. The term c-myb is another synonym for cmyb. Western Blot is the most common application for the cmyb antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
