Anti-C6orf90 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the C6orf90 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NOL7 gene, which encodes nucleolar protein 7. This protein is known to be a part of the small subunit (SSU) processome, first precursor of the small eukaryotic ribosomal subunit. The human version of C6orf90 has a canonical amino acid length of 257 residues and a protein mass of 29.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types.
