Anti-AKAP15 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The AKAP15 antigen is another term for the human protein A-kinase anchoring protein 7, encoded by the AKAP7 gene. The protein is known to function in intracellular signal transduction and the transport of ions, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 104 residues and a mass of 11.5 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is reported to be expressed in the brain, heart, lung, pancreas and skeletal muscle. Other alias names for AKAP15 include AKAP18 and A kinase (PRKA) anchor protein 7. Indicated applications for AKAP15 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
