Anti-Aqdq antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Aqdq antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the NDUFS4 gene, which encodes NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit S4. This protein is known to function in brain development, among other biological roles. The human version of Aqdq has a canonical amino acid length of 175 residues and a protein mass of 20.1 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include CI-18 and CI-18 kDa. Indicated applications for Aqdq antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
