Anti-ADTRP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein androgen dependent TFPI regulating protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 230 amino acid residues and a mass of 26.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be expressed in cultured endothelial cells and in the placenta. A member of the AIG1 protein family, ADTRP is known to be involved with the regulation of gene expression. Synonyms for this target antigen include androgen-dependent TPF1-regulating protein, fatty acid esters of hydroxy fatty acids hydrolase ADTRP, and FAHFA hydrolase ADTRP. ADTRP gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species.
