Anti-AGER1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the AGER1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DDOST gene, which encodes dolichyl-diphosphooligosaccharide--protein glycosyltransferase non-catalytic subunit. This protein is known to function in protein glycosylation and cytokine-mediated signaling pathways, among other biological roles. The human version of AGER1 has a canonical amino acid length of 456 residues and a protein mass of 50.8 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as CDG1R. Indicated applications for AGER1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunohistochemistry.
