Anti-B7H7 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target B7H7 is a known alias name of the protein HHLA2 member of B7 family, encoded by the HHLA2 gene in humans. This protein has a canonical amino acid length of 414 residues and a mass of 46.9 kDa. It is localized to the membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed at high levels in colon, kidney, testis, lung and pancreas, and at lower levels in small intestine, liver and skeletal muscle. The term B7-H5 is another synonym for B7H7.
