Anti-BDCA3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the BDCA3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the THBD gene, which encodes thrombomodulin. This protein is known to function in proteolysis, among other biological roles. The human version of BDCA3 has a canonical amino acid length of 575 residues and a protein mass of 60.3 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the colon, vagina, and cervix. This target antigen may also be known as AHUS6. Western Blot is the most common application for the BDCA3 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
