Anti-Arc40 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Arc40 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ARPC1A gene, which encodes actin related protein 2/3 complex subunit 1A. This protein is known to function in cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of Arc40 has a canonical amino acid length of 370 residues and a protein mass of 41.6 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as HEL-68. Western Blot is the most common application for the Arc40 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
