Anti-Annexin A2 Receptor antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the ANXA2R gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 193 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.7 kDa. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. It is believed to act as a receptor for annexin II on marrow stromal cells to induce osteoclast formation. Other names for this target antigen include annexin-2 receptor and annexin II receptor.
