Anti-3OST1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the 3OST1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the HS3ST1 gene, which encodes heparan sulfate-glucosamine 3-sulfotransferase 1. This protein is a reported sulfotransferase that utilizes 3'-phospho-5'-adenylyl sulfate (PAPS) to catalyze the transfer of a sulfo group to position 3 of glucosamine residues in heparan. The human version of 3OST1 has a canonical amino acid length of 307 residues and a protein mass of 35.8 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the Golgi of cells and notably expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. Other names for this target antigen include 3OST and heparan sulfate glucosamine 3-O-sulfotransferase 1. Indicated applications for 3OST1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
