Anti-dystroglycan antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The dystroglycan antigen is another term for the human protein dystroglycan 1, encoded by the DAG1 gene. The protein is known to function in pathways of aging and axon guidance, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 895 residues and a mass of 97.4 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm and it is reported to be expressed in a variety of fetal and adult tissues. Indicated applications for dystroglycan antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
