Anti-Urotensin 2 Receptor antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the UTS2R gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 389 amino acid residues and a mass of 42.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, it is a high affinity receptor for urotensin-2 and urotensin-2B. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Other names for this target antigen include UR-2-R, UTR, UTR2, G-protein coupled receptor 14, UR-II-R, urotensin II receptor, and GPR14.
