Anti-TNRC18 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein trinucleotide repeat containing 18. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 2968 amino acid residues and a mass of 314.5 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include long CAG trinucleotide repeat-containing gene 79 protein, and trinucleotide repeat-containing gene 18 protein. TNRC18 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunocytochemistry is the most common application for the TNRC18 antibodies listed below. Western Blot and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
