Anti-ERS25 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ERS25 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TMED4 gene, which encodes transmembrane p24 trafficking protein 4. This protein is known to function in Golgi transport and Golgi organization, among other biological roles. The human version of ERS25 has a canonical amino acid length of 227 residues and a protein mass of 25.9 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. ERS25 is a member of the EMP24/GP25L protein family.
