Anti-mGluR3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target mGluR3 is a known alias name of the protein glutamate metabotropic receptor 3, encoded by the GRM3 gene in humans. This 879-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in chemical synaptic transmission, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell and features glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in the brain cortex, thalamus, subthalamic nucleus, substantia nigra, hypothalamus, hippocampus, corpus callosum, caudate nucleus and amygdala. Other synonyms for mGluR3 include GLUR3 and GPRC1C. Indicated applications for mGluR3 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
