Anti-Kindlin-1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Kindlin-1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FERMT1 gene, which encodes FERM domain containing kindlin 1. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and cell matrix adhesion, among other biological roles. The human version of Kindlin-1 has a canonical amino acid length of 677 residues and a protein mass of 77.4 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include fermitin family homolog 1, UNC112 related protein 1, and fermitin family member 1. Indicated applications for Kindlin-1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
