Anti-Idh antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Idh is a known alias name of the protein isocitrate dehydrogenase (NADP(+)) 2, encoded by the IDH2 gene in humans. This 452-amino acid residue protein is reported to play a role in intermediary metabolism and energy production. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell and features acetylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types.
