Anti-Cornifin antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Cornifin antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SPRR1B gene, which encodes small proline rich protein 1B. This protein is known to function in epidermis development and keratinocyte differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of Cornifin has a canonical amino acid length of 89 residues and a protein mass of 9.9 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells. This target antigen may also be known as GADD33.
