Anti-GDE antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the GDE antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the AGL gene, which encodes amylo-alpha-1, 6-glucosidase, 4-alpha-glucanotransferase. The human version of GDE has a canonical amino acid length of 1532 residues and a protein mass of 174.8 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the esophagus, vagina, and cervix. This target antigen may also be known as glycogen debranching enzyme. Indicated applications for GDE antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
