Anti-A2D antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the A2D antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ATXN2L gene, which encodes ataxin 2 like. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of A2D has a canonical amino acid length of 1075 residues and a protein mass of 113.4 kilodaltons, although 9 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. This target antigen may also be known as A2LG. Indicated applications for A2D antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Western Blot.
