Anti-BCMP11 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target BCMP11 is a known alias name of the protein anterior gradient 3, protein disulphide isomerase family member, encoded by the AGR3 gene in humans. This 166-amino acid residue protein is known to be required for calcium-mediated regulation of ciliary beat frequency and mucociliary clearance in the airway. It is localized to the ER of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in the lung, in the ciliated cells of the airway epithelium. Indicated applications for BCMP11 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
