Anti-C16orf82 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein chromosome 16 open reading frame 82. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 217 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.1 kDa. It is found to be highly expressed in teratocarcinoma rather than in normal testis. Synonyms for this target antigen include protein TNT. C16orf82 gene orthologs have been reported in the bovine and chimpanzee species.
