Anti-Keratin 82 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein encoded by the KRT82 gene. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 513 amino acid residues and a mass of 56.7 kDa. The keratin 82 protein is a member of the Intermediate filament protein family. Other names for this target antigen include Hb-2, KRTHB2, keratin, type II cuticular Hb2, K82, hard keratin, type II, 2, and HB2.
