Anti-CNT3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CNT3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC28A3 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 28 member 3. This protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. The human version of CNT3 has a canonical amino acid length of 691 residues and a protein mass of 76.9 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER and cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and breast. CNT3 is a member of the Concentrative nucleoside transporter (CNT) (TC 2.A.41) protein family.
